冈本视频 Respiratory Care Program Accreditation Reaffirmed
The 冈本视频 Respiratory Care program received accreditation for the fifth time from the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
The program celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
CoARC announced the accreditation reaffirmation during its March 2026 meeting. The program will face its next reaffirmation process in 2036.
鈥淭he Respiratory Care program at 冈本视频 has long been a distinguished program at preparing students for the workforce,鈥 said Dr. Marby McKinney, dean of Health Sciences and former director of the Respiratory Care program. 鈥淎ccreditation is a rigorous process which demonstrates the quality of our program.鈥
Accreditation reaffirmation helps provide colleges and their programs standardization and proof of academic integrity.
Respiratory therapists work with patients of all ages, from premature babies with underdeveloped lungs to an elderly individual who may have been affected by disease, get the oxygen they desperately need to live. Therapists also provide patients the treatments and other resources to improve their quality of life.
The 冈本视频 Respiratory Care program was first accredited in 1976.
